Honored to share that I’m one of two visual art fi Honored to share that I’m one of two visual art finalists for the DAG Prize a $20,000 grant offered by @dag.foundation supporting emerging and midcareer visual artists, writers, and musicians. This is my second time in the past few months where I’ve become a finalist for a huge monetary project grant—adding to the Jonathan and Barbara Silverman Foundation grant for sculptors in Dec. I also recently won the Joseph Robert Foundation project grant and the Tallichet Freedman foundation grant which I will use toward this project. It means a lot to receive this feedback and support as I continue the building my forthcoming bodies of work. DAG Foundation, thank you. #sarahtrigg #contemporarysculpture #contemporarypainting

Hey all it’s that time of year when I donate a pie Hey all it’s that time of year when I donate a piece for auction in support of the exceptional non-profit @DaughtersRisingThailand—an anti-human trafficking/ women’s empowerment NGO! Every year, Daughter’s Rising supports girls (ethnic minority and refugee women from Myanmar with no access to education) to pursue their academic dreams. Education is the key for these young women to fight exploitation and break cycles of poverty in their communities.
